Vehicle Description

For Sale 1984 Peugeot 505 Turbo Diesel station wagon with “S” package. Automatic transmission, 192,000 miles. Trailer hitch. European headlights. California car for its first 21 years, no significant rust. Windshield replaced about two years ago. Polyurethane paint by a technical college one year ago, upon very close inspection they missed a few hail dents and ran the clear coat in a couple of places. Overall the car is very handsome. Re bushed front suspension. Original Michelin XZX spare wheel with less than 200 miles. Air conditioner converted to 134 coolant, however needs a recharge Fuel injectors cleaned and calibrated. Engine block heater installed. Starter overhaul this summer. Rear brake shoes replaced this spring. Engine runs great. Needs: Replacement of transmission mount. New radio, speakers are new. Some other small equipment items do not work. Car did hit a curb and was repaired by a frame shop, one wheel is .7 degrees out of caster This causes a very slight pull to the left. Please note: In my opinion the biggest issue this vehicle has is the transmission mount. This part cost about $300 and is a pretty big job to install. At 3000 RPM or about 60 MPH it produces an exhaust rattle that goes away at 65 to 70 MPH. Car runs great at 70+.
