Description (revised)
Vehicle Description

Older restoration...absolutely rust-free MGA...$2,800.00 spent last summer with John Twist at University Motors on maintenence items, brakes and new shifter linkage. Paint showing some slight crazing in one area, yet still extremely shiny as it was block sanded and polished single-stage enamel when restored.  Brakes well, handles great, a blast to drive. 1500 engine, drums all around. Recent rewire with woven cloth harness. Recent stainless exhaust. New Stayfast tonneau, no top or frame.

Items in need of attention: Second gear synchro is weak. Rear main seal on engine leaks. Drivers seat bottom and armrest are in need of upholstery. Floorboard carpets either need mending and edges bound, or rubber mats fitted. Turn signal switch inoperable. Wiper motor inoperable. Steering wheel cracks where banjoes meet the rim. Small dent in the top of rear fender - see pic.

Recent master cylinder rebuild (Apple)

Delivery available on personal trailer.

I just want to clarify a few things about the car.

The "crazing" in the paint is so very minor, I could not even get the camera to pic up any of the tiny spiderweb cracks to come up in pictures. There is no rust anywhere...firewall, dash, trunk, etc. The car is very drivable. I chose to state it's shortcomings as not to mislead those who would discover them later. The engine was completely rebuilt by a very reputable engine shop in Madison, NJ (AER) when the car was restored and has maybe 5,000 - 7,500 miles on it. The carpet set is wool from England. The floorbard rugs need to be edgebound and reinstalled.
