     Here is a excellent running and driving 1960 Buick Electra with a 401ci nailhead 445 wildcat motor. This car is what you call a barn find. It was formally owned by an Buick club member that passed away and left the car in his barn for about 8 years. It was then acquired by a young man used the car as a daily driver for about 4 years. In these four years the car went though complete drive train rebuild totaling over $12,000!!! This car has stack of receipts that total well over $12,000 and really show how well taken care of this car is. This car is equipped with the very desirable 401ci nailhead V8, power steering, power brakes and head turning good looks. This car is totally original inside and out and still retains its original paint and interior.  This is a car that you can get in drive and enjoy just the way it sits or you can restore it into a beautiful rare a beautiful Buick Electra that everyone dreams about. The best thing about this car is the motor, transmission, and suspension all have been professionally rebuilt by the previous owner within the last year.      The body on this Electra is totally original. With that being said this cars body shows its age and has some small dents, dings, and fading. This car has great potential and could easily be painted and re chromed into a gorgeous car. The car does have a few rust bubbles in the paint that are very minor located on the bottom of the doors. The underside is totally solid and still retains all of its original sheet metal. This car still retains its original paint and has a rare factory color of "Chalet Blue Poly" with a white top. The car has really looks good going down the road but under close inspection you can see its age and faded original paint. All the metal on the car appears to be original and free of any patch panels. The underside is also solid and free of any rotted out floor pans.  All the chrome and stainless on the car are totally original. The front and rear bumpers appear to be nice and straight and free of any major hits. All in all the exterior on this car is not perfect but is still extremely nice and can be enjoyed for years to come just the way it sits or you can paint it and chrome it and have yourself a $30,000 show winner. All the glass on the car is original and looks nice with the exception of the windshield which has some cracks in it as shown in my pictures.

     The very rare blue interior is all 100% original and could use some TLC. The seats are original and have some rips and tears due to the foam coming through and tearing the very fragile material.  The dash looks excellent and free of cracks. The dash face and gauges are all clear and work as they should. The steering wheel is in great condition and free of any major cracks or splits. This Electra has a after market AM FM CD player that sounds excellent and is mounted under the dash and could be easily removed.  The original radio is still in place and still turns on! All the courtesy lights as well as all the running lights work as they should. The trunk is totally original and still retains all of its original trunk mats/material as well as the jack/tools/spare.

     Mechanically, this Buick is in excellent condition! The original 401ci nailhead 445wildcat engine runs very strong and was just completely rebuilt front to back top to bottom last year. The automatic transmission was also just rebuilt. Everything was removed from the motor compartment cleaned and repainted. EVERYTHING was rebuilt....carb, generator, radiator, brakes, master cylinder, heater core, power steering pump, water pump and engine. Over $12,000 is receipts for the motor in trans all completed last year. The motor compartment is very clean and presentable with tons of new parts.

     All in all, this is still is a rare car and has great potential. It is nice that the drivetrain has been re-built and really all it needs is a nice paint job and you got yourself a really beautiful car. This is a great car for someone that is looking for a nice driver car that they can drive and enjoy or you can take this car to the next level and restore it to show condition and have yourself a wonderful rare 60' Buick Electra.

At Close of Auction

The successful "winning" bidder must telephone us within 24 hours after the auction has ended to verify purchase and make arrangements to complete the transaction.

If funds are not received, and an alternate arrangement has not been made, the vehicle can and will be made available to other potential buyers on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The parties agree that this contract shall be construed under the substantive laws of the state of Arizona, that the state courts of Arizona shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any action brought to enforce the terms of this contract or over any action arising out of the underlying transaction(s) with seller and venue may be had in the Maricopa county superior court of the state of Arizona.
