This vehicle is in fair condition. The body itself is in very good condition. The interior has some damage. There is a small tear on the backseat driver's side. The armrest console between the driver's and passenger's seats is missing. The driver's seat and the passenger seat has damage (as is shown in the photos). The carpet on the driver's side is thin and torn near the side (as is shown in the photos). The control panel on the driver's side has been knocked loose, and although the controls still work, the driver's side window control needs to have a tab replaced in order to operate the window, but you can still operate it by hand. The radio/cassette player is inoperatable. It needs an amplifier. The outside antenna only goes up part way.
There may be a short in the electrical system. The gauges have stopped working and if the battery is left connected, the system seems to drain the battery. The odometer has stopped running at approximately 135,000 miles, but these are true miles. The exhaust often smokes excessively on start up, but it usually dissipates while being driven. The gasket seals need to be replaced.
OK. I've done my best to point out the what's wrong with the car. Now let me mention the good stuff. Most of the flaws with the vehicle are cosmetic, not mechanical - with the exception of the gasket seals that need to be replaced, which in itself is not a big job - and the electrical problem, which I have been told is probably minor.
The engine itself is clean.
The vehicle was owned by my mother and father, who bought it new, and then it was given to me several years ago, but I have driven it very little. Most deteriation has come from from being stored, not from being driven excessively.
The vehicle has a new battery, new alternator, and a new fuel pump. The tires are in pretty good condition.
The vehicle is very roomy and the ride is comfortable and smooth and quiet! You can carry on a conversation with those seated in the back with no background noise!
