This antique convertible car has been totally restored and is part of a large collection of muscle cars. I have owned and garage stored this vehicle for many years. This car is an original 442 (check the vin number) it is mostly original except for the 455-4V motor which has been totally rebuilt with now approximately 400 miles. the 400 trans is original and is also rebuilt. The rear axle is a original positraction of an unkown ratio. The following is NEW....Vinyl convertible top, Interior seating material with under bolsters, rugs, wide oval steel belt tires, ALL chrome / stainless is either new or polished to include grille and grille trim. This vehicles sheet metal (fenders, hood, trunk, doors were completely removed from chasis and sand blasted to bare metal, opoxy primed and pained Carruosel Red (Hugger orange Camaro,Chevelle) and then bolted back onto chasis maintaining proper clearances everywhere...There is NO rust in floors/trunk area ever.
The car glides down the road straight and true with its power steering. It stops with its power drum brakes effortlessly. The car has its original cut out 442 rear bumper with its stainless tips. The rear bumper although rechromed is now showing some pitting on the underside. The engine has a dual snorkle air cleaner and "C" big valve heads.
For the LOW reserve on this auction you could not duplicate this car....keep in mind this is a 442 muscle car and not some "tradition" FAKE or look a like...buy the real thing and you too will have an investment.
