1971 AMC Javelin SST     304   V8  102,000 miles   Auto     Posi rearend

I have been storing this car since 1984 with intentions of restoring it because it is one very solid rust free South Dakota Javelin.  I had a fender bender in a parking lot in 1984 and replaced front fender and bumper, as that was all it needed.  I then decided to start sanding down the whole car and have it repainted.  Guess what?  Got it sanded down and that's it and put it away.  Originally silver with red interior.

What you see is minor surface rust on metal do to not being prepped and primered.  I just pulled car out of storage and was going to have body shop sand and put primer on and then sell.  I decided not to because the buyer wouldn't be able to see what I was covering up, so I am leaving it as is so you can see how solid the whole car is.  As you will see there is some small spots of bondo here and there only to fill in dents.  Quarters, floors and inner fenders are very nice!

After being parked for 24 years in dry storage the car fired right up with gas poured in carb.  Car moves and runs.  It will need to be trailered home and I will assist with loading.  Obviously car will need everything done for restoring such as brakes, flush tank, etc. 

What you see is what you get.  If you are thinking of making a drag racing car, this would be an excellent candidate.

I will include the following with this car:  2 rear red window interior panels panels, 1 rear bumper that is dented, original taillights, chrome has some pitting but not terrible, 1 front white bucket seat, 1 front green bucket seat, 1 black rear seat bottom, 3 Javelin scripts and two bulls eyes.  I do not have the original front seats or rear seat.   I can take pictures of these items mentioned and email to anyone who wants to recieve them.  Let me know.
