This auction is for a 1949 Bentley Mark VI that was rebodied by Halse LTD. in London and is now a lovely two door roadster. Halse LTD. was famous for reboding the old Mark VI's and only a few of these special cars have remained in the hands of collectors. Infact one just sold in the UK for over $40,000 GBP!! It runs and drives great, starts right up with no issues. The speedometer shows 8,899 miles but due to the age and type of car that mileage can not be warrantied and is exempt. It has under went a recent restoration which included removing the body, repainting the whole chasis in Claret Burgundy along with the fenders, repainted complete body in white, complete upholstery which included new tan leather interior seats, door panels, wilton wool carpet, leathered dash, and trims, newly chromed Bentley sidesteps and bumpers. It also under went a current service and tune-up which included: new fuel pump, oil change, new plugs, and carb. adjustment and she runs great. It has the rear mounted spare wheel, leather hood straps, manual transmission. We do not know to much about this type of Bentley so bare with us as we try to describe everything the best we can. It is very fun to drive and really turns a lot of heads and get ready for some picture taking. It is missing the horn button in the photos but we do have it and it will be included. Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $3000.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 3 days of Auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing, your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, we will gladly cooperate, you can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.
