Description

You are bidding on a 1967 Maserati Mistral 4 Litre Coupe.  A California car with NO RUST   Chassis # AM1091390 does not match Engine. 

Red Exterior / Interior.

This car was purchased by my father in 1976 after it had been in a right front collision.  Over the next 4 year's my father and husband completely restored the car.  In 1980 this car won "best of show" at MIE's 1980 Concourse (Later becoming Concorso Italiano). 

The car was driven occasionally during the 1980's but has been garage stored since the early 90's.  After my father's death in 1998 the car came to me.  Since then we have done the following:

In 2000

Pulled fuel tanks, cleaned and reinstalled

Complete brake job including brake boosters, replaced master cylinder, installed new caliper pistons, new piston seals, and new brake pads.

Pulled and rodded out radiator

Replaced air-conditioner, compressor and condenser (blows cold air!)

Replaced heater core

Replaced power window motor

Installed auxillary cooling fans

Installed new front windshield

Replaced rubber seals on doors and back hatch

Installed all new hoses

New Battery

New Tires all around including spare

Replaced fuel injection with Webber Carbs (the fuel injection system was working at time of change over and will be included in sale)

Replaced interior carpeting

Repainted Exterior

Between 2005 - 2007 the following work was done

Engine was pulled due to smoking.  Valve guides and seals were replaced and Valves and seats were reground

Main engine bearings were plast-i-gauged and re-installed

Installed new clutch, pressure plate and slave cylinder

Car has been driven less than 100 miles since this last work was done

Car is currently registered and is running.

The odometer shows 24,000 km, but has not worked in awhile

The winning bidder must send a $1000 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of auction's end payable through pay pal, wire transfer or overnight US Bank Cashier's Check.  Balance of the winning bid to be paid within 7 days of auction's end through wire transfer or US Bank Casher's Check.

If car is to be shipped to winning bidder, it is the Buyers responsibility to arrange shipping and pay all costs thereof.  Car is to be picked up by buyer, or buyer's shipper/agent within 30 days of aution's end. 

If payments are not received as outline, Seller reserves the right to relist the vehicle, sale to next highest bidder, or sell otherwise.
