I have up for auction a 1982 Chevrolet Pro Street Pick up Truck.  I recieved this as a partial trade and now have decided I need a street rod with a back seat for the kids. This truck has a remanufactured 350 with an Edelbrock aluminum intake,Holley carb,HEI distributor,headers and chrome dress up kit. The engine needs a good tune up and the carb needs to be rebuilt from sitting. The motor does not leak  and has good oil pressure. The transmission is a turbo 350 with a ratchet shifter and the rear is a 3.73 ratio narrowed 9" Ford on factory leaf springs.  The frame rails are not narrowed on this truck, it just has widened wheel wells in the bed and wider aluminum wheels.  The front suspension has dropped spindles to lower it down. It does have power brakes and power steering.

    The interior is custom blue tweed, Their is a 5" autometer tachometer with shift light, and three smaller aftermarket guages. It also has a visor and sliding rear window.. The body could use new rocker panels,cab corners and two doors to be rust free. Parts for these trucks are cheap and plentiful, New rockers and cab corners can be purchased for $150 and good used complete doors are available from $50-$100 each, New they cost $150 bare. The floors pans are in good shape. This has directional aluminum wheels.

     Their are two dents in the tail gate and their is some cracks in the body filler under the drivers taillight near the rolled rear pan. The passenger door is also dented in the middle and rusted on the bottom.The rear tires are Mickey Thompson Sportsman, 31x18.50x15, these are badly dry rotted, I will include in the auction a pair of good used Mickey Thompson ET Street tires size 31x14.50" they are the same size as the Sportsman tires that are currently on the truck.  The brake indicator light in the dash stays on when driving the truck. I drove the truck to the end of my street and back and the truck back fires when you romp the throttle hard...I was told its a blown power valve in carburetor...I had to jump start the truck when I picked it up, the battery was dead, I would replace it.

    This would make someone a cool shop truck or Rat Rod Pick up. I would recomend having a mechanic check out this truck before driving it on the road, it has been sitting for sometime and needs a complete tuneup,carb checked out,fluids changed and brakes checked out. This has a clear Maryland title and is eligible for a Street Rod tag in Maryland, which means No inspection and cheap insurance.

   A $250 nonrefundable deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end, this can be sent to my Pay-Pal account, unless other arrangements are made.

   This truck will need to be removed from my property within 30 days of auction end after payment in full has been recieved.

   Please if you have any doubts about the condition of this truck, dont bid, It is a 26 year old vehicle and it needs some fixing up. I am not a mechanic or claim to be a mechanic, I am just listing what the guy I got it from has told me about the condition.

   NO SHIPPING, I will not get involved in anyway with the transportation of this vehicle...That is the buyers complete responsibility......I recomend towing or trailering this home due to the dry rotted rear tires.
