Description

Offered is a 1960 Triumph TR3A with a freshly rebuilt TR4 engine # 503663. The car is a true survivor and was extensively maintained and upgraded by the last owner with service records. With the original rust free chassis, fresh engine, disc brakes and steel wheels, this car travels effortlessly all day at eighty mph in confidence. Just a sampling of the work performed are a completely rebuilt TR4 engine including oversize pistons and liners, new lifters, camshaft, rebuilt head including new valves and guides. Rear main seal upgraded to up-type. Radiator has been recored and a electric cooling fan has been installed. New generator, front shock and breakerless point distributer. Original disc brakes stop with confidence. Exterior of the car is solid and straight with one area in the lower left wing showing signs bubbling. Chrome bright work is nice as well as the top and tonneau. Car was originally primrose and is now a very stunning burgundy with only few minor blemishes. The interior is also very nice. There is a realistic reserve so bid to own a classic Triumph that was rebuilt to be driven and enjoyed. The car is located in Steamboat Springs Colorado. Shipping arrangements can be made.
