Up for auction is a 1947' Chevy Pickup Custom Built Swamp Buggy or Ranch Truck. The frame of the truck is 6" channel that is plated and braced. Front and rear differentials are out of a 42" Dodge Weapons Carrier. This truck has been built over a time period of 3.5 years, and I think it's time to move on to bigger things. The motor,transmission and transfer case are all new or rebuilt. This truck is a 6 cylinder with 4 wheel drive, great for playing in the mud. This truck could be registered for road also, if tires and wheels were purchased, but this truck does need a title, since it is custom built. I have always just used it as my swamp buggy, and rode it around at parades. It also has hydraulic steering and a custom hand fabricated bed that I built. The interior floor pans are all sprayed with rhino liner, the seats are tan vinyl and in great shape no tears or rips. The truck has an 8,000 lb warn wench. This truck measures 12 ft. tall from ground. The tires on this is 4ft tractor tires so this thing will be making it through some mud. If you riding around in the dark you wont get lost with 6 KC lights and a custom built roof rack. The motor in this truck is a Ford 300 inline 6. All brake and wheel cylinders have been redone. So this thing is just looking for a new garage to sit in. This truck is a definite one of a kind chick magnet. I also am including a front and rear end and transfer case that I have aquired over the years.This is pickup only but for a small fee can be delivered.
